I have a few questions.

Where are the custom web pages I create? The URL is for example ".....store/page/5/faq" I have looked for a "page"-folder inside the store folder, but haven't found any.

I am using SSL for all of my store pages. I didn't have it set like that from the beginning. Just now when I looked in the httpsdocs-folder, I noticed that my store-folder is gone! I haven't deleted it. Is it supposed to be gone? My webpages load as usual.

Thank you!

Pages made with the Custom Web Page tool in the store's administration area are saved in the store's database. There is no .html file created on the server for these pages.

The files in the "httpdocs" directory on the server are used for both the "http" and "https" environments. The "httpsdocs" directory is not used.

I hope this information is helpful. Let us know if there's anything else that we can assist you with.

So if I wish to maintain these pages ("...store/page/5/faq" in the example above) via FTP or SCP (or some other automated means of pushing) am I out of luck?

It'd be awkward to paste the updates into the admin tool's textbox all the time..

The Custom Webpage Editor that's built-in to the store is generally meant for use by those who would rather not maintain files by FTP.

If you are comfortable creating an .html file, uploading it via FTP and managing its content, then it's recommend to use that approach instead of the built-in Custom Webpage editor. I think you'll appreciate the full control over the file that it will provide you with anyway.

Your account's FTP information is located within the store's administration area at: [Hosting > FTP Account Info].

I hope this information is helpful. Let us know if there's anything else that we can assist you with.
