Hi,
Will this software keep track of my sales and give me a daily/hourly sales report by vendor? Will it print vendor re-order forms without duplicating items previously reordered?
Also, when entering products, I see it asks for a 'manufacturer'. Could 'vendor' be used instead?

Yes. This information is available in the store's administration area at: [Reports > Manufacturer Stats].

Vendor re-order forms are not currently a feature. However, I've submitted this as a feature request to be considered for inclusion in a future software update.

In the shopping cart, "Manufacturer" is synonymous with "Vendor". In the upcoming version 4 release, all references to "Manufacturer" are replaced by "Vendor".

The product import tool allows a spreadsheet containing inventory levels for multiple products to be uploaded all at once.

Thanks for the answers. In our quest to upgrade our software, we're hoping to find a program that will allow us to integrate both inventory management and sales into one convenient software program.
So far in my hunt this is the best software I've found, but inventory management/re-ordering is still weak (but still better than most programs). Do you know of any inventory management program that this software would mesh with? Or can you write code for me that will allow me to do vendor re-orders and inventory replenishing at the touch of a button (then again, maybe that's pretty involved)?

This may be possible through a custom programming project. It is recommended to start a Support Ticket, from the administration area go to [Navigation Menu > Support > New Support Ticket], and list out, in detail, the various requirements for such a system. This way we can have the development team review the requirements and see if this would qualify as a viable custom programming project.

I think I will do a support ticket. Since my first post, I've downloaded so many other shopping cart trial versions that I'm blurry-eyed. Yet I keep coming back here for comparison.
