Modular Merchant version 3.4.12
Released 3/17/2009
How do I update my Modular Merchant account?
For clients running version 3.x:
The next time you log in to your store Administration area, this update will automatically be installed.
If you're already logged in to your store's administration area when this update becomes available, then an icon stating "An Update is Available" will be displayed in the upper-right section of your Admin Home page. Click this icon to review the release notes, and then install the update by clicking the "Install this Update" button at the bottom of that page.
For clients running version 2.x:
Refer to this forum article for more information:
http://forums.modularmerchant.com/viewtopic/551/
This update includes the following items:- Digital Delivery module
Updated the Digital Delivery system's security checks. Downloads associated with orders that are marked as "unauthorized" will no longer be downloaded under any circumstances. Previously, certain setting configurations could cause a conflict that would allow it. - "No Shipping Method Selected" Checkout Error
Added a new layer of error logging to track a probable cause of the erroneous "No Shipping Method Selected" error message that some customers receive during the checkout process. The information being logged will provide information required to resolve this issue in an upcoming software update. - {SHIPPING-OPTIONS-SUBMIT-BUTTON} QuickCode Tag
Added support for the {SHIPPING-OPTIONS-SUBMIT-BUTTON} QuickCode Tag. For details, refer to the QuickCode Glossary entry for this tag at: http://www.modularmerchant.com/quickcode_details.php?qcid=777 - PayFlow Payment Gateway
Added support for the PayFlow payment gateway for servers running PHP 5. (In PHP version 5.2, the library of built-in functions related to PayFlow were removed from PHP. PayFlow now uses a standard API, like other payment gateways.) - PayPal COST Integration
If possible, the system will attempt to load the standard receipt webpage, instead of the printable web page, when a customer returns from the PayPal website. - PayPal COST Integration
The system will attempt to delay the delivery of the customer's email receipt until PayPal has submitted its order data back to the shopping cart. This will help prevent customers receiving an email notification prior to the completion of the transaction on PayPal's website.

Modular Merchant version 3.4.12.1
Released 3/18/2009
This supplemental update includes several items that weren't ready in time for yesterday's update:
- PayPal COST Integration
Fixed an issue that would prevent the value of some types of coupons from being applied to an order in the store's records for transactions placed using the PayPal COST system. - "No Shipping Method Selected" Checkout Error
Added one more new layer of error logging to track a probable cause of the erroneous "No Shipping Method Selected" error message that some customers receive during the checkout process. The information being logged will provide information required to resolve this issue in an upcoming software update. - PayPal COST Integration
The email receipts will now include the download information for any downloads associated with products in orders placed using the PayPal COST system. Previously, this information would not be available due to the data returned from the third-party's website. _________________ Rutabaga
