This update includes the following items:- PayPal Integration
Modular Merchant version 3.4.11 introduces a new system of recording PayPal orders. The new system allows the shopping cart to capture a copy of the order record before the customer leaves your store's website to complete the order on PayPal's site. The purpose of this new system will be to prevent missing and malformed orders caused by incomplete data returned from PayPal's website. More information on this new system is available in the following forum article: http://forums.modularmerchant.com/viewtopic/626/ - Network Merchants Payment Gateway
Updated the integration with the Network Merchant's payment gateway. The formatting of the credit card month and year will be more consistent. This should prevent declined orders caused by the formatting of these values. - Export Orders
Fixed a bug in which some three character state ISO codes (such as "NSW" for North South Wales) would be truncated down to two characters in exported spreadsheets. - Ship Method Error: Error Logging
Added logging of any "no shipping method selected" errors that are generated during the checkout process. The logged data will allow us to resolve a variation of the issue in which the customer erroneously receives an error message that they have no shipping method selected, which is affecting several accounts. This update introduces the logging of the order data. The NEXT software update is scheduled to contain a resolution to this issue. - Label Editor QuickCode Tags
Added support for the following QuickCode Tags in the Label Editor: {CUSTOMER BILL COUNTRY ISO} {CUSTOMER BILL COUNTRY NAME} {CUSTOMER SHIP COUNTRY ISO} {CUSTOMER SHIP COUNTRY NAME} This provide a means to include the full country name on the shipping labels generated using the Label Editor. - Cross Site Scripting Alerts
Added support to prevent another type of XSS attack. This particular attack embeds malicious code into the server-level user data, instead of into variables submitted to the page. The system that "cleans" user data to remove XSS attacks now includes this server-level data. - {IF-PAYPAL-ELIGIBLE-BEGIN}
Added support for the {IF-PAYPAL-ELIGIBLE-BEGIN} QuickCode Tag. Refer to the QuickCode Tag Glossary entry for details on this tag at: http://www.modularmerchant.com/quickcode_details.php?qcid=774 - {IF-PAYPAL-ELIGIBLE-END}
Added support for the {IF-PAYPAL-ELIGIBLE-END} QuickCode Tag. Refer to the QuickCode Tag Glossary entry for details on this tag at: http://www.modularmerchant.com/quickcode_details.php?qcid=775 - {PAYPAL-CAPTURE-ORDER-BUTTON}
Added support for the {PAYPAL-CAPTURE-ORDER-BUTTON} QuickCode Tag. Refer to the QuickCode Tag Glossary entry for details on this tag at: http://www.modularmerchant.com/quickcode_details.php?qcid=776 - Hosting Setup Checklist
Added a "Propagation Estimator" to Step 8 of the Hosting Setup Checklist in the "Hosting" section of the store's administration area. When setting up a hosting account, it is necessary to point the domain or subdomain Modular Merchant will be hosting to our servers. After making this change, it takes up to 72 hours for it to take affect world-wide. This new tool provides an estimate as to how much time is left before propagation takes affect. - Session-Level XSS Attacks
Introduced systems to prevent XSS attacks that could embed malicious scripts within server session data, resulting in attacks that would launch on a later web page. - Order Export
Updated the Order Export system to improve conformity with PCI Compliance standards. - Order Motion Integration
Added "CreditCardAuthRequestID" to the list of fields included in the XML data submitted to Order Motion for "authorize only" transactions. This field contains the transaction's ten-digit authorization code returned from the payment gateway.
