How do I update my Modular Merchant account?
For clients running version 3.x:
The next time you log in to your store Administration area, this update will automatically be installed.

If you're already logged in to your store's administration area when this update becomes available, then an icon stating "An Update is Available" will be displayed in the upper-right section of your Admin Home page. Click this icon to review the release notes, and then install the update by clicking the "Install this Update" button at the bottom of that page.

This update includes the following items:

• Unsubscribe Template
  Added a new template to all Design Packages. The new "email_unsubscribe.template.php" template file will be displayed when a customer clicks an unsubscribe link in an email sent out through the Modular Mailer module. (Previously, the storefront or a blank page would be displayed instead, depending on the store's configuration.) Contact Modular Merchant if you need assistance adding this template added to your store's Design Package.
• Search Customers
  The Search Customers page has been redesigned. It now uses the standard search interface found on other admin pages. It will better handle a large number of results (50,000+ results). Some new info is also displayed in the search results area. The previous version of the Search Customers page is still available at: ad_cmr_search1.php
• Simple Bulk Emailer
  The Simple Bulk Email tool, located at [Modules > Simple Bulk Emailer], has been changed. It now uses Customer Groups to select the customers that the emails will be sent to. (Previously, users would first need to select customers on the Search Customers page, and then continue creating their email.)
• Creating a Coupon Series
  The Coupon Series tool, located at [Modules > Coupons & Gift Certificates > Create a Coupon Series], has been changed. It now uses Customer Groups to select the customers that the coupons will be sent to. (Previously, users would first need to select customers on the Search Customers page, and then continue creating their coupons.)
• PayPal
  Introduced additional fraud protection for PayPal transactions. If the dollar value of an order returned from PayPal is less than the dollar value calculated by the shopping cart, then the order will be marked as "unauthorized" and "unpaid". This will allow any downloads associated with the order to become locked. A notification stating that this action was taken will also be appended to the order's notes. This will allow a store administrator to review the order and, upon their approval, change the order to "approved" and "paid" status.
• Email Archive
  The "Shipping Update" email generated when an order's shipping status changes will now be recorded in the Email Archive report.
• Export Orders
  Changed the order in which certain operations are performed when exporting order spreadsheets in order to prevent blank spreadsheets from being generated when certain preference combinations are selected.
• Support Ticket Editor
  Removed the rule in the Support Ticket editor that translates "... and ..." to the quote boxes. Quote boxes can still be created in a ticket by using the quote and /quote tags. This should prevent some formatting issues that were being encountered by casual use of the "... and ..." characters in Support Ticket posts.
• System Settings
  Added a new System Setting (#22) to control the behavior of the "popup summaries" available on various pages of the administration area. Users can set the popup summaries to be triggered by either clicking on or mousing over the summary's icon.
• Order Details Page
  On the Order Details page, the date each item in the order was included in a Fulfillment Report can now be edited. Select the "Fulfillment Report" checkbox to set the Fulfillment Report date to today. Deselect the checkbox to reset the item to having never been included in a Fulfillment Report. (Previously, the Fulfillment Report date could not be edited.)
