That's a good question with a simple answer. Your store is already be able to accept multiple coupon codes. When entering multiple coupon codes into the "coupons" field on the checkout page, just separate them with commas. That's it!
The system will evaluate each coupon code in the list individually. If a customer enters three coupon codes, and only two are valid, then both the valid ones will still be used.
By default, the following message should already be displayed in your store, next to the field in which coupon codes are entered: If you have a gift certificate and you would like to use it to discount this purchase, enter the coupon code here. If using more than one coupon code, separate them with commas. (Example: 123ABC,456DEF) |

This feature is currently in testing in our development area. It is scheduled for release in the upcoming Modular Merchant update, version 2.019. When released, this option will be controlled with an on/off toggle within the Coupon module's settings.

Yes. Version 2.019 was released on March 28, 2006. The release notes for that update can be found in the Announcements area of this forum.
The current version of the Modular Merchant shopping cart software is 3.5.8, and version 4 is currently in development.
