Authorize.net recently announced that they will be making a change to the format of their transaction ID numbers. On October 1, 2008 Authorize.net will start using transaction ID numbers greater than 2,147,483,647.

This change within Authorize.net will not affect the functionality of the Modular Merchant software. The shopping cart can accommodate an Authorize.net Transaction ID up to 255 characters in length.
