In the area where we edit the products, under 'Advanced Tags' the first feature is 'Search Keywords' your explanation is the following:

"Search keywords associated with this product. These are used when the customer uses the "Search Module" to search for a product in your storefront. Separate with commas."

Does this only affect the MM database search or will it affect our SEO for Yahoo, Google, etc...

A more detailed and elegant response to this question is in development, but I wanted to make sure that this question was responded before the day's end.

The "Search Keywords" only affect the store's search engine. The purpose of this field is to help "seed" certain keywords for the product. They have no affect on Google or other internet search engines.

Product information that does affect Google and other search engine spiders includes:
* Product Name (Displayed in the SEO-friendly URLs for the product's store page.)
* Short description (Displayed on category and search results pages.)
* Long description (Displayed on the product's store page.)
* "Product Meta Tags" field in the Product Editor (The contents of this field can be added to the product's store page by adding the {PRODUCT-META-TAGS} QuickCode Tag to the product page's HTML template.)
