Update 3.3.1 Focuses on Import/Export Improvements

Update 3.3.1 focuses on updates and improvements to the new suite of import and export tools introduced in version 3.3.0. Thank-you to all those who took the time to submit their questions and suggestions regarding these new tools. As always, we encourage all our clients to let us know what we can do for them.

How do I update my Modular Merchant account?
For clients running version 3.x:
The next time you log in to your store Administration area, this update will automatically be installed.

If you're already logged in to your store's administration area when this update becomes available, then an icon stating "An Update is Available" will be displayed in the upper-right section of your Admin Home page. Click this icon to review the release notes, and then install the update by clicking the "Install this Update" button at the bottom of that page.

This update includes the following items:

• Guest Checkout Orders sometimes excluded on Search Orders Page
  Some types of rules used on the Search Orders page would exclude orders placed by customers using the "Guest Checkout" option.
• Product Category Field not included in Import Spreadsheet by default
  The "all categories associated with this product" field is not being included in the default product im/export spreadsheet template. It should be.
• IE Can't Export Spreadsheets in https environment
  IE has many problems downloading files in an "https" environment. We're working on a workaround that should allow IE to download the spreadsheets, which will be in the next update.
• Left-Column Checkbox on Export Orders Page
  On the Export Orders page, clicking the checkbox in the left-column doesn't select the checkbox. (However, clicking in the table cell does select it.) Clicking either the checkbox or the table cell should select the checkbox.
• Linking to CSS files outside of the store directory
  Added rules to the store's template system to better link to CSS files that are located outside of the directory in which the store software is installed.
• Exporting Orders w/ Products w/ Modifiers
  Fixed an issue in which exporting an order record that contained a product with modifiers could include all the versions of that product, instead of just the specific version that was purchased.
• Moved PayPal Pro Function
  Moved a function out of the PayPal Pro API to the store's standard functions file because the presence of the function within the API caused the processing of scheduled orders to fail if using PayPal Pro.
• Truncation of Billing City in Order Data Export
  Corrected an issue in which the Billing City could be truncated down to two characters in the Order Export spreadsheet.
• Prevent the export of blank spreadsheets
  Added a warning message that is displayed if a user attempts to export a order/customer/manufacturer/category/product spreadsheet without selecting any fields to include in the spreadsheet. (Previously, the spreadsheet would download, but it would be completely empty since no fields were selected.)
• Alphabetize Columns in Export Spreadsheets
  The columns in Category, Customer, Manufacturer, Order and Product export spreadsheets will now be listed in alphabetical order.
