For instance, if a customer has purchased a subscription from us (and is still a paying member), I want to give a discount on other products in the shop.
How can I do that? |

Promotion triggers are based on the contents of the customer's basket. So, the Promotions look at what the customer is buying right now to determine which promotional deals are triggered.
However, it is possible to give a customer a discount on new products based on what they've purchased in the past. This is accomplished using the Discount and Customer Groups.
Discount Groups contain lists of products and discounts that eligible customers will receive.
Customer Groups contain lists of customers that will receive those discounts.
