| I think it would be great to assign a commission level to a specific affiliate. I have some people doing entire websites to promote a product, their commission base should be higher than an affiliate with a small banner ad. Just a thought. |

That is a good question.
The system that is currently in place will allow you to apply a bonus dollar amount to an individual Affiliate account.
This bonus amount will then be applied as an additional earnings on each product-item sold through that Affiliate's account.
One thing to know, when applying a bonus amount to an Affiliate account, the total of the bonus amount plus the regular Affiliate commission for that product, together cannot exceed the Commission Cap assigned to that product.
Here is an example of these various parts in action.
Let us say Product-A costs $2.00 in your store, and has a %10 Affiliate Commission earnings per item sold.
Now lets say you leave the Commission Cap at $0.00 which is the default in that field. Now, no matter how many of Product-A an Affiliate sells, they will still earn no commission. They will, however, see an entry in their Affiliate Sales History for sales of that product, but there will be no earnings amount for those items sold.
Now lets say we change that Commission Cap to $1.10. Now, an Affiliate selling this product will receive the expected %10 Commission for sale of each item. If they sell one item, they will receive $0.20. If they sell ten, they will receive $2.00.
Finally lets say we create a $1.00 bonus for Affiliate-B. Now if Affiliate-B sells one item, they will receive $1.10 (that would be $1.00 bonus, plus $0.20 commission, but the Commission Cap reduces it down to $1.10). If they sell ten, they will receive $11.00 (that would be the $1.10 times the ten items sold).

Lets take a look at the places we can make these settings.
To apply a bonus to an Affiliate Account:
To create a reusable commission rule:
To apply that rule to one or more existing products and to set a Commission Cap for an item:
