How do I assign "Members Only" content to a product?

"Members Only" content is assigned on a product-by-product basis. To assign member content to a product, open the editor screen for the selected product.

1. Open the Product Editor for the selected product. The Product Editor can be found in your Administration area at: Navigation Menu > Products > Search Products. On the Search Products page, click the "e" (edit) button for the selected product.
2. In the Product Editor, go to the "Scheduled Billing" tab.
3. In the "Scheduled Billing" tab, you'll find a section titled "Membership Options", containing a field titled "Members-Only Information". If you enter content in this field, then it will be displayed in the account area of any customer with a scheduled order for this product. This field can include text, HTML, JavaScript, or PHP.

The "Members-Only Information" will be displayed in the customer's account area under the following conditions:

1. The customer must have a scheduled order queued for the product.
2. Payment of the customer's scheduled order must not be overdue.

If the above conditions are not met, then the "Members-Only Information" for the product(s) will not be displayed in the customer's account area.

Where to find the "Members-Only Information" in the customer's account area:

1. Your customers can log in to their customer account area in the "/customers/" directory in your online store. For example, the link to your customer's log in page may be something like: http://www.mystore.com/store/customers/
2. The customer will use their email address and account password to log in.
3. Once logged in, click on the "News & Updates" link on the page.
4. The "News & Updates" page will list the following items:
5. General store-wide news you have written. (Viewable by all customers.)
6. Customer-specific news. (Viewable by this customer only.)
7. Product "Members-Only" info. (Only viewable by customers subscribed to the appropriate product(s).)
